I really liked the modern bronze sculptures, especially the skein of swallows over the pond in the herb garden, and the young girl with a bird at the other end of the rose terrace. Lambeth Palace garden was like a huge version of every vicarage garden that ever hosted a village fete in my childhood. In fact they do host the North Lambeth Parish Fete in June. Rather pissed off today - the money for last month's work hasn't appeared, and I'm having to transfer from my savings. Not good. The company I was working for seem to be on the verge of collapse, but haven't told us anything.
